Natalie and Chris’s day has to be one of my favourites of the year. My idea of an amazing wedding is one where the whole day revolves around 2 people and the love they share with all their friends and family. This is the reason I do what I do. Don’t get me wrong I love the details which this wedding had in abundance but what makes me love my work is when everyone is so incredibly happy and have one hell of a party!
Nat and Chris’s wedding at Park Farm in Somerton was probably on one of the wettest days of September. Their outdoor ceremony had to be moved into the barn but I loved where the ceremony ended up. With a backdrop of rustic logs and the branch entwined archway at the head there couldn’t have been a more perfect alternative.
Nat and me are very similar in our tastes, we know what we want when it comes to the wedding day! We don’t want just any bouquets we want the wild, loose, whimsical style which Bramble and Wild did an amazing job creating for this wedding. Nat did all the table florals and cake decoration herself with help from her 4 fabulous bridesmaids who even “borrowed” some roses from a nearby garden for the cake.
Alot of my couples ask me “what if it rains!” and my answer is always the same “if it rains your wedding will still be amazing and we will still get some lovely outdoor shots if you are up for it.”
Chris and Nat were absolute troopers and braved the weather for some really lovely outside photos. That view just had to be captured!
