Irene and David’s Manchester Town Hall wedding was a new experience for me. Being a Lake District wedding photographer I rarely have weddings that are not surrounded by masses amounts of greenery so when Irene told the location of her wedding I couldn’t wait for a bit of Manchester wedding photography. I love my country weddings but a wedding at Manchester Town Hall brings a different type of beauty. With the grand architecture and floor to ceiling windows, I definitely wasn’t limited in places to take photos; however it was the little details like the bees in the tiled floors which really did it for me.
I first met these two lovely people when they came up to the Lakes for their pre-wedding shoot at Holbeck Ghyll Country House. The ice was definitely broken when their collie went for a little swim in the hotel pond.
With hair and Make-up done by Joanne from Make-up by Joanne Irene looked perfect. It took all 5 bridesmaids to help put on her stunning Anna Sorrano dress but it was worth it. Here are a few of my favourites from their day.
