Many of you know I have a love affair with Askham Hall. I am sure I was born in the wrong era and meant to live at Askham Hall in the 1800’s. Instead I am really lucky to be able to shoot stunning weddings here all year round. I get to see the sea of daffodils in the spring, the draping wisteria in the summer and the incredible autumn colours in the October months. The wedding I am showing you here is the latter of the three and just as stunning as Spring and Summer if not more!
Nicola and John’s October wedding at Askham Hall oozed class and sophistication. Nicola’s Sassi Holford gown from Julia Tasker Bridal Couture in Bowness couldn’t have been more perfect for her. Including a classic bow which would give Audrey Hepburn’s wedding gown a run for her money. The table designs in the main barn were filled to the brim with candles placed on aged candle sticks from Tamaryn’s Treasures. Florals from Flowerworld in Penrith and mirrored picture frames finished off the table decor perfectly. Askham you outdid yourself yet again here are a few of my favourites.
